On Tuesday 7th July at 7:30pm there will be a Mass in Canterbury Cathedral celebrating the Translation of the Body of St Thomas of Canterbury. On this day in 1220 the relics of this famous English martyr were ‘translated’ or moved from the crypt of Canterbury Cathedral to an elaborate shrine in the newly-constructed apse at the east end of the cathedral. All are welcome. Entrance to the Cathedral will by the South Door.
