Archbishop John Wilson’s Pastoral Message on The Dignity of Every Person

In a Pastoral Message to the clergy, consecrated men and women and lay faithful of the Archdiocese of Southwark, Archbishop John Wilson reaffirmed the conviction that “as followers of the Lord Jesus, there is no place for racism”.

A copy of the letter is on the noticeboard or you can find it here: https://rcaos.org.uk/media/kjeli2yv/there-is-no-place-for-racism-a-pastoral-message-on-the-dignity-of-every-person.pdf

Join The Fightback Day 2026

Self-induced abortion up to birth is now permitted in England and Wales. Please show your support by joining SPUC’s campaign to defend unborn babies and their mothers.

If enough people stand up for the pro-life cause, politicians will have to take heed of concern. We urgently need all of you to join in the work to bring about real and lasting protection for unborn children. As a first step, please fill out one of the postcards that you will find on the newsletter table, and you will be sent an action pack detailing all the different ways that you can become involved. Thank you.

Rosary For Life

Archbishop John Wilson is calling on all of us to join him in praying the Rosary for Life this May (Month of Mary). Together, we will pray through the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous Mysteries, each one offered for the most vulnerable facing growing threats to life: unborn children at risk of abortion, victims of war and persecution, people with disabilities, and the elderly and vulnerable. For video, audio and written versions of the Rosary for Life, visit rcaos.org.uk/rosaryforlife. Pray the Rosary. Encounter Christ. Defend life.
