The church ceiling has now been painted. The painting of the walls and woodwork commenced on Monday and will continue for the next week. During all the painting work, weekday Mass will be held in the temporary chapel set up in the dining room of the presbytery, with Sunday Masses being held in the church hall. The Lenten ‘Walk With Me’ booklet of daily reflections and prayers for Lent is now available in the repository shop for £1.50.

The second collection today will be for the Clergy Support Fund. The Clergy Support Fund enables the Archdiocese of Southwark to care for priests in their retirement, old age, and at their time of ill health.
Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday. There will be a Recitation of the Rosary at 6pm followed by Stations of The Cross at 6.20pm. Solemn Mass and Imposition of Ashes follows at 7.00pm.
Wednesday is the World Day of Prayer for The Sick. The day coincides with the commemoration of Our Lady of Lourdes.
