Parish News – 3rd May

Dear Parishioners,

The parish website is updated with the Mass times for this week Fr. Jose’s weekly message, the weeky newsletter for this week, and church notices.

Today is Safeguarding Sunday. Today’s Gospel reminded us that we are called to protect, called to care, called to act. Safeguarding is not the work of a few; it is a shared responsibility.

Following the 10.30am Mass we will have our May Day annual ceremony of the crowning of the statue of Our Lady with procession round the grounds of the church.

Tuesday is the national day of prayer for survivors of abuse. We focus on victims/survivors of domestic abuse.

The International Mass is on Sunday 24th May. Let us to come together to celebrate and thank God for the Catholic faith shared among the many nationalities that make up our parish family here at St. Simon’s.

Have a great week!
