Dear family members and friends We are approaching the end of the liturgical year. It also means how much we have grown in our spiritual experience. Jesus warns us not to judge looking at the outward appearance. Also we see many people who speak in the name of Jesus but are not presenting him in the right manner. Today let us pray to have a real spiritual experience of Jesus in our life and not to simply follow false prophets and teachers. Amen

Dear family members and friends: Today is the Remembrance Sunday when we specially remember and honour those who have laid their lives for the country. The day reminds us to be grateful to all those who lay down their lives for the good of others. Today’s Gospel tells us, “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” Our faith in God is the most important motivation to do good to others, be it part of our duty or voluntary. St. Paul reminds us, “For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.” Let us pray for all who have laid down their lives and also for their family members still alive, that the blessings of the Lord be with them. Amen

Today we celebrate the All Saints Day and tomorrow will be the All Souls Day. In the Communion Antiphon taken from today’s Gospel we pray “Blessed are the clean of heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” On this day we remember all the Saints, known and unknown and we rejoice in the Lord because of them. On the All Souls Day we gratefully remember all the faithful departed especially those who are near and dear to us. We are called to pray for all the departed until we join them in the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us follow the Gospel values and try to live a saintly life. Amen
