Dear family members and friends: Today we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Jesus was born as the child in the family of Joseph and Mary, who were specially designated and called to be the parents of Jesus to take care of him. In today’s Gospel we read how God guided the family giving timely instructions to protect the family. In the Communion Antiphon we say: Our God has appeared on the earth, and lived among us. Let our families be the dwelling place of God. Let all the parents be guided by God in order to protect the family including the children. Let us all try to keep our families Holy that the presence of the Lord be there always. Amen
