This Week’s Parish Newsletter

St Simon Stock Catholic Church Church News

Adam here, I hope that you are all keeping well.

The website updates include the newsletter, church notices, and diary dates and Mass times.

We welcome home Fr. Hans who has returned safe and well from his holiday to India. We extend our grateful thanks to Fr. Joe who looked after us so well whilst he was away.

Tuesday is The Feast of The Visitation of The Blessed Virgin Mary. We will be keeping this as a special day of devotion to Our Blessed Mother. There will be recitation of the Rosary at 7.15 p.m. followed by a Solemn Mass at 7.30 p.m.

The International Mass is on Pentecost Sunday 5th June. If you’ve not already signed up to be involved with helping to organise the Mass, set up tables and chairs in the hall before Mass, volunteering as singers, readers or supplying food and drink etc. for the reception afterwards or to help in any other way please see Titus Soter, Lesley Perk or Thereza Baker after Mass or sign up on the sheet on the notice board this week.

Plans and arrangements will need to be made this weekend.

Also, please read the message from Archbishop John Wilson entitled “Calling People Home for Pentecost”.

Have a great half term holiday.
