Adam here, I hope that you are all keeping well.

Quite a big update this week. This week’s website updates include the newsletter, weekly Mass times. Also, there is a lot happening this week.

Friday is World Day of Prayer for The Sick. Next Sunday is Racial Justice Sunday. The second collection will be for the Catholic Association for Racial Justice taken to support the work of the Catholic Church to promote racial justice in our schools, parishes and wider society.

Also, there are a couple of events taking place soon.

The first is “A Retreat for Lent – Make some space to develop your relationship with God this Lent”. Read more

The second is the Silver Jubilee of Fr. John, a former Parish Priest here at St. Simon’s. Fr. John has written to us to let us know of his Silver Jubilee in March and has sent details of his parish’s celebration in May to which he would welcome anyone from the parish who would like to attend. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues every Wednesday at 6.00 p.m. with Mass at 6.45 p.m. Recitation of The Holy Rosary is now every Friday after the 10 a.m. Mass.
